This is a functional role with a strong emphasis on WMS and Supply Chain processes. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective Oracle EBS solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Supply Chain modules.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle EBS functional solutions.

  • Provide functional expertise across Oracle Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, WMS, Manufacturing, and related Supply Chain modules.
  • Support integration and end-to-end business processes across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce, and Warehouse Operations.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing teams on processes involving:
    • Work orders
    • Bills of Material (BOM)
    • Work in Process (WIP)
    • Material issues and returns
    • Inventory transactions
    • Manufacturing execution
  • Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements and Oracle EBS optimization.
  • Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration documentation, and test scripts.
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues and provide root-cause analysis.
  • Work with technical teams on reports, interfaces, integrations, extensions, and customizations where required.
  • Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide production support and participate in issue prioritization and resolution.
  • Support Oracle EBS upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and rollouts as required.
  • Provide end-user training and prepare user documentation when required.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on functional experience with Oracle EBS R12.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Supply Chain Management processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Inventory Management and warehouse operations.
  • Good functional knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing, including BOM, WIP, and manufacturing transactions.
  • Experience with Oracle modules such as:
    • Oracle WMS
    • Oracle Inventory
    • Oracle Purchasing
    • Oracle Order Management
    • Oracle Manufacturing / WIP
    • Bills of Material (BOM)
    • Shipping / Logistics
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into Oracle EBS solutions.
  • Strong experience in configuration, testing, implementation, and production support.
  • Ability to work effectively with business users, functional teams, and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse automation and integration with external warehouse/logistics systems.
  • Experience with Oracle interfaces and integrations from a functional perspective.
  • Experience working in global or multi-site Oracle EBS environments.
  • Oracle EBS certifications are a plus.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a strong functional consultant rather than a technical developer, with deep practical knowledge of Oracle WMS, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Manufacturing. The person should be able to independently engage with business stakeholders, understand warehouse and supply chain processes, recommend Oracle-based solutions, and drive functional delivery from requirements through implementation and production support.
