Job description

Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Fusion SCM & APEX Developer to assist with the design and build of a custom manufacturing execution system. The role involves delivering high-quality technical solutions for Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management and APEX-based extensions, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with functional business analysts to gather requirements. Lead design discussions with stakeholders
• Design, develop, and enhance Oracle Fusion Manufacturing, Inventory, and Supply Chain Management technical solutions under approved architecture and standards
• Develop Fusion-compliant technical extensions using approved tools such as APEX, Visual Builder, BI Publisher, and REST services
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls for Fusion extensions and APEX applications
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for Fusion and APEX components
• Analyze and resolve defects and production issues related to Fusion SCM and APEX extensions
• Support Fusion quarterly update cycles by performing impact analysis, regression testing, and remediation for assigned components
• Optimize performance of APEX applications, Fusion integrations, and custom extensions
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed components, integrations, and support procedures
• Participate in code reviews and design walkthroughs, providing constructive technical feedback
• Follow established development standards, security guidelines, and deployment processes
• Collaborate closely with functional analysts, QA teams, and integration partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Create a bridge between the business and developers and lead the technical effort from conception to completion.
• Assist in knowledge transfer, code review and mentoring of junior developers as needed
• Identify opportunities to simplify solutions by leveraging Fusion standard capabilities and low-code tools
• Support deployment activities, cutovers, and post-go-live stabilization for shop floor solutions
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to functional, operations, and business stakeholders
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in high-pressure shop floor and production-support situations
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM / Manufacturing modules
• Experience developing Fusion technical extensions
• Solid expertise in Oracle APEX (Application Express) for enterprise applications
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 6–10 years of overall ERP or enterprise application development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion and cloud-based integration experience
Preferred:
• Experience supporting Fusion quarterly updates
• Prior experience working in hybrid EBS–Fusion environments
• Understand Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
