We are currently searching for a CDL Class A Truck Driver for our Caledonia, MI location. As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you can expect to safely transport products from our production facility to customer locations in a professional, and timely manner in coherence with promoting corporate vision, mission statement, and core values. Our drivers ensure that the customers’ orders are handled according to the Quality Policy.

What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL for interstate commerce.
  • Must have 2 full years of driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
  • A satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Work safely and attend all safety training.

It would be great if you also have:

  • 5-7 years of driving experience with a Class A CDL.

During a normal workday you can expect to:

  • Process customer orders to achieve corporate goals.
  • Operate distribution services in compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Obtain cross-functional abilities within the manufacturing/shipping environment.
  • Maintain tractor and trailer vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
  • Coordinate production activities with purchasing, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
