About Our Practice

We are a family-owned practice delivering quality care to the communities of Johnstown, Loveland, and the surrounding communities in Northern Colorado. Our commitment to providing patients with an ultimate experience has allowed us to be the top recommendation among families and friends in the city. We take immense pride in the warm, comfortable environment we create for all our patients. Our team of experienced doctors dedicates time to listen to patientโ€™s vision needs and educate them on the importance of their eye care health. As a full-service practice, we provide services such as complete eye exams, contact lenses, glasses, glaucoma testing, and pre- and post-operative care to patients of all ages. Our in-house full surfacing lab gives us the ability to provide patients with their glasses within one hour. 

We are looking for a talented optometrist to join our family care practice! You will be working alongside two optometrists, three technicians, and ten supporting front desk staff who handle all administrative duties. Our supporting team members allow our optometrists to focus on delivering patient care. On average, we see about 15-20 patients per day. Our office has two exam lanes fully equipped with cutting edge technology such as Autoregractor, NCT, Daytona Optos, and OCT. 

Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities

Our new OD will be a welcome addition to our team and family. You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. The ideal candidate for the optometrist position is entrepreneurial, treats patients in a caring and friendly manner, is a team player, and solutions-oriented. Candidates who speak Spanish is a huge plus! We will provide mentorship and training by our experienced doctors to help with the transition into the practice. 

This is a full-time opportunity!

Your regular duties will include:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams
  • Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
  • Prescribe corrective lenses
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
  • Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
  • Maintain detailed patient records using Crystal PM EMR
  • Handle eyecare emergencies

Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Valid state license to practice optometry
  • A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
  • Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
