Eagle Vision One is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team.


This is an exciting time to become part of our practice. As we continue to grow, we are opening our new Eye Health Center in October and our Star location in December, creating exciting opportunities for career growth and advancement.


Whether you have previous experience in eye care or are looking to begin a rewarding career in healthcare, we provide paid on-the-job training and mentoring to help you succeed. If you enjoy working directly with patients, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative team dedicated to legendary patient care, we'd love to meet you.


What You'll Do


As an Optometric Assistant, you'll work alongside our doctors to provide exceptional care and help patients through every step of their visit. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for their eye examinations by reviewing medical history and performing preliminary testing.
  • Conducting diagnostic testing, including visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, retinal imaging, and other specialized testing.
  • Assisting providers during patient examinations.
  • Educating patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and proper care.
  • Maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating diagnostic equipment.
  • Accurately documenting patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Creating a welcoming, positive experience by answering patient questions and providing outstanding customer service.
