About the Role:
Paradise Valley Eye Docs PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our growing eye care team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced optometrists in a patient-focused environment where your skills truly make a difference. If you're passionate about eye care and love helping people see the world more clearly, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preliminary patient testing including visual acuity, tonometry, and autorefraction
  • Assist the optometrist during comprehensive eye exams and specialty procedures
  • Collect and document patient medical and ocular history accurately in EHR systems
  • Conduct contact lens teachings and assist patients with proper insertion and removal techniques
  • Prepare exam lanes, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-exam care instructions and eyewear options
  • Coordinate patient flow and support front office staff as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience in a medical or optometry setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care.
  • Ability to work well with a team and be adaptable.
