Job description

About the role:

The Account Manager will drive revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships within an assigned territory. This role focuses on upselling, conversions and cross-selling additional product lines to existing customers, including MIPS (Merit-based Incentive Payment System) compliance tools, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, additional software licenses, credit card processing solutions, and data conversion services. The ideal candidate will leverage consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions in the ophthalmology and optometry software space. We are looking for highly self-motivated individuals that are looking to work hard, have fun, and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage designated territory, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Promote and sell additional product lines such as MIPS tools, RCM services, extra licenses, credit card processing, and conversion solutions to enhance customer value and satisfaction.
  • Conduct virtual demos, presentations, and consultations to showcase product benefits and address customer pain points.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, support, and marketing) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and resolve any customer issues.
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in ophthalmology and optometry software to provide informed recommendations.

Skills and qualifications (mandatory):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in Healthcare SaaS or software solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
