Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Optometrist to join our team! As an Optometrist on the team, you will be meeting with new and existing patients, reviewing their assessment results, and talking to them to learn about their current concerns and issues. You will also perform a comprehensive eye exam to detect any abnormalities, prescribe and fit the appropriate lenses, and diagnose eye conditions. The ideal candidate stays up to date on the latest advancements in optometry, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and works well within a team environment.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 
  • Meet with new and existing patients to determine their concerns and needs
  • Conduct a comprehensive eye exam to address all issues and find any defects or abnormalitiesย 
  • Prescribe and fit the appropriate lenses
  • Diagnose minor and major issues, including issues such as glaucoma and cataracts
  • Work closely with the rest of the office team, as well as outside medical providers, to deliver an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school
  • A valid state license to practice optometry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent listening skills
  • Familiarity with electric medical records systems
  • The ability to work well independently, as well as within a team environmentย
