For over 40 years, Dr. Bermel has provided a total eye care experience to residents and families in northern Virginia. The team of Optometrists offer a spectrum of services and specializes in complete medical testing, ocular disease treatment and management, Gentle Molding, PROKERA, surgical co-management and post-operative care, specialty contact lenses, and additional services for special populations. To continue driving practice growth throughout northern Virginia, Dr. Bermel is looking to add an Optometrist to the highly-trained team.

The high-tech practice utilizes and maintains state-of-the-art equipment and technology to detected medical diseases through detailed eye examinations. The practice is well equipped with a well-rounded suite of technologies, including autorefractors, corneal topography, digital retinal imagery, optical coherence tomography, pachymetry, wavefront technology, visual field, never fiber analyzers, non-contact tonometry, frequency doubling technology, and Lipiview. Additionally, cloud-based practice management and electronic health records software enable seamless processes at every point of the patient experience. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop the latest eyewear styles from the optical boutique—plus, the Opticians provide personalized support to select the proper frames tailored to visual needs, lifestyle, and budget. We also have the ability to treat dry eye and fit customized contact lenses.

About the Optometrist Opening

Dr. Bermel an excellent opportunity for a part-time or full-time Optometrist personally driven to deliver the world-class experience that patients know and expect. In this role, you'll practice full-scope optometry have the unique opportunity to care for various ocular conditions, patients, and special populations, while working and learning from experts in a supportive environment—approximately 20 patients are cared for daily.
