Job description

To thrive as a Procurement Manager, you'll be a strategic and results-driven leader who excels at building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring a reliable flow of materials that keep our business moving forward! You will play a significant role in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and MRO supplies while balancing cost, quality, and availability. We rely on your expertise to develop efficient purchasing strategies, drive value through negotiation, and support operational excellence across the organization. We value professionals who are collaborative, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement.
In this role, you will lead procurement activities across multiple categories, negotiate favorable supplier agreements, and maintain inventory levels that support uninterrupted operations. You will partner closely with Finance, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align purchasing decisions with business goals. We look to you to analyze purchasing data, manage vendor relationships, control departmental spending, and find opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. We succeed when you apply your business insight, negotiation skills, and critical thinking to deliver value throughout the supply chain!
Here's what we're looking for:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a strong preference for a degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or purchasing functions, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience negotiating supplier agreements, pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms to achieve business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems, purchasing processes, inventory management, and supplier performance management
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and cost-management skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data and support pricing decisions
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Quality, R&D, and Marketing teams to support company initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building capabilities combined with a talent for influencing internal and external collaborators
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software, with outstanding organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
