Job description

AI SEO Specialist (AI focused)

Location: Remote, Florida

Zen Media is a leading B2B marketing and PR agency helping enterprise software, healthcare technology, professional services, and manufacturing brands achieve measurable growth and industry leadership.

For years, brands focused on Google rankings. Today, buyers increasingly rely on AI-generated answers when researching vendors, comparing solutions, and building shortlists.

Zen Media is helping define the next evolution of search: AI Visibility.

We analyze how brands appear inside generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, and implement strategies to improve their presence in AI-generated recommendations.

We are now hiring an AI Visibility Specialist to help scale this capability.

Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of SEO, AI search, PR, and structured content optimization.

The AI Visibility Specialist analyzes how brands appear across generative AI platforms and develops strategies to improve their presence in AI-generated answers.

Unlike traditional SEO roles focused mainly on keyword rankings, this role focuses on how large language models interpret, reference, and recommend brands.

You will work with AI visibility diagnostics, prompt testing frameworks, schema analysis, and long-form content strategies designed to improve AI discoverability.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and collaborates closely with the marketing and content teams.

What You'll Do

  • Run AI Visibility audits using Zen Media's diagnostic platform
  • Analyze AI visibility reports measuring brand presence in AI responses
  • Identify opportunities to improve brand inclusion in AI-generated recommendations
  • Create and optimize long-form content designed for AI discoverability and citation
  • Conduct schema and structured data audits to improve machine readability
  • Optimize page structures so AI systems can easily extract relevant information
  • Perform keyword and entity research supporting SEO and AI visibility
  • Monitor responses across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity to identify patterns
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to improve search and AI visibility performance
  • Stay updated on trends in AI search behavior and LLM citation patterns

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of SEO experience, ideally in a digital marketing or B2B agency
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy
  • Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn research into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail
  • Strong writing skills for structured long-form content
  • Curiosity about generative AI and its impact on search

Bonus Experience

  • Experience analyzing AI-generated responses or LLM outputs
  • Familiarity with schema markup, entity optimization, and structured data tools
  • Understanding how AI models extract and reference web information
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Experience working with B2B or enterprise clients

Why This Role Is Unique

AI-driven discovery is rapidly changing how buyers research vendors.

While most marketing teams still focus on traditional search rankings, Zen Media is helping define a new discipline: AI Visibility.

In this role, you will help develop strategies that improve how brands appear in AI-generated answers across multiple platforms, placing you at the forefront of a major shift in digital marketing.

What's Your Next Step?

If you are passionate about SEO and the future of AI-driven discovery, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll join a team helping global B2B brands improve their visibility in the evolving AI search ecosystem.
