Job Description
As a Fiber Optic Installer, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch fiber optic installation and IT services to our local community. Your responsibilities will include expertly installing, preparing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and systems, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and efficient connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform modifications, construction, and thorough examinations of various electronic and/or mechanical equipment and related devices.
  • Install equipment inside customer premises, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working in all weather conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces to meet installation demands.
  • Efficiently manage materials and plan jobs to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license.
  • Experience in fiber optic splicing/termination is a plus, highlighting your expertise in the field.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective interactions with customers and internal staff.
  • Ability to convey potential issues to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain composure under pressure, handling rapidly changing circumstances with calm and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate project requirements. Must be willing to work Saturday and/or Sunday.
  • Demonstrate the ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment, keeping the team informed and updated.
  • Responsible and safe operation of company vehicles, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
