Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optician role based in Dayton, OH. The Optician will assist patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, including frames and lenses, based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs. Daily responsibilities include interpreting optical prescriptions, advising on lens options and coatings, measuring and adjusting frames for proper fit, and ensuring accurate orders with optical labs. The Optician will work closely with optometrists to support patient flow, maintain inventory of frames and accessories, and handle basic repairs and adjustments to eyewear. The role also involves providing clear, respectful communication, promoting high standards of customer service, and contributing to an organized, efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of optics, including lens types, materials, and optical calculations.
