Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team in Buffalo Grove, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical services and be comfortable selling high-end glasses to a discerning clientele. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear. You will be working with Ophthalmologists, Cornea Specialists and Retina Specialists, Cataract Surgeons, Pediatric Ophthalmologists and Optometrists who want the specialty eyewear for their discerning patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style, needs, and prescription requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on high-end eyewear products and lens options.
  • Take accurate measurements for proper fitting of glasses.
  • Adjust and repair frames to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain knowledge of current optical trends and product offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with optometrists and other team members to deliver exceptional customer care.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Optician with a strong understanding of optical products and services.
  • Comfortable and confident in selling high-end glasses and luxury eyewear.
