What you'll be doing:
  • Perform fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and inspection of precision photonic and optical components
  • Execute technical procedures using detailed engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Work with machining tools, optical equipment, soldering systems, and precision lab instrumentation
  • Support calibration, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability activities
  • Assist with optical fiber splicing, mechanical builds, photonic circuit assembly, and inspection processes
