Job description

Optical lab Technician

 

We are seeking an Optical Lab Technician to join our Pearle Vision family. This position requires a meticulous individual with an eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in the production of prescription eyeglasses. No experience necessary, willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

·       Operate and maintain optical laboratory equipment, including lens edgers, polishers, and coating machines.
·       Fabricate prescription eyewear according to customer specifications and quality standards.
·       Inspect lenses and frames for defects, ensuring that finished products meet quality control criteria.
 
Qualifications:
 
·       Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
·       Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and comminate technical information clearly.
·       Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet production deadlines.
·       Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
 
 
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Starting $18 per hour or TBD (with experience)
