  • Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintainActive DoD Secret Clearance.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain system and system-of-systems architectures using SysML-based tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or similar modeling environments.
  • Apply MBSE methods to support requirements definition, design, analysis, verification, validation, and interoperability across acquisition lifecycle phases.
  • Create, refine, and manage model artifacts, including requirements, behaviors, structures, interfaces, allocations, and traceability products.
  • Support mission architecture analysis, platform integration, readiness assessments, and digital engineering activities for Navy and DoD programs.
  • Help build scalable model architectures that support operational requirements, data-driven decisions, and future capability planning.
  • Leverage model data to enable a digital thread across engineering disciplines, including cyber, software, integration, configuration management, and platform engineering.
  • Produce model-derived reports, artifacts, and technical summaries that support engineering decisions, program reviews, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to align MBSE solutions with program objectives and mission needs.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, digital engineering, or system architecture experience.
  • Hands-on experience applying MBSE methodologies to develop system models, executable architectures, simulations, analyses, or digital engineering artifacts.
  • Working knowledge of SysML, UML, systems modeling standards, requirements management, and systems engineering lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with at least one MBSE or architecture modeling tool, such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or a similar enterprise modeling environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and translate it into clear, actionable summaries for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, cyber, software, integration, platform, and program teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Navy, DoD, NAVWAR, PEO C4I, or complex system-of-systems programs.
  • Familiarity with Navy C4I systems, platform integration, surface ship architectures, mission-level capability analysis, or fleet readiness activities.
  • Experience implementing, maturing, or sustaining MBSE practices within a DoD program office or digital enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting digital thread development across cyber, configuration management, software, systems engineering, or integration disciplines.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Ruby, Java, or similar languages to automate model queries, data translation, or model integration activities.
  • Experience presenting technical findings to government stakeholders, senior leaders, or cross-functional engineering teams.
