Please contact Staffing Manager, Tiona Scroggins @ tscroggins@alinestaffing.com Assignment Dates: 06/10/2026 – 09/13/2026 Pay Rate: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM Location: Getzville, NY 14068 – Onsite Department: Mail Distribution Center / ICS / Business Operations / Fidelis Care Position Type: Temporary assignment with opportunity for extension or permanent hire based on business needs Position Purpose: The Inserting Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining inserting equipment used to produce and prepare mail pieces for postal distribution. This role ensures all mail production meets quality standards and complies with USPS regulations and HIPAA requirements.

Primary Responsibilities: Operate automated inserting equipment to produce mail pieces Insert printed materials such as letters, forms, or booklets into envelopes Operate folding machines, cutters, and bindery equipment Monitor machines during production and make necessary adjustments Inspect mail pieces during production to ensure quality standards are met Maintain equipment using scheduled maintenance procedures Ensure optimal productivity levels are consistently met Prepare mailings for USPS distribution Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards during mail handling Support overall mail production workflow and efficiency Perform additional production-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1+ year experience in a mail production or manufacturing environment preferred Experience operating mechanical inserting equipment preferred Manufacturing or retail experience required (must have transferable production skills) Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to follow instructions and production procedures accurately Strong time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year experience in mail production operations preferred Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred Experience troubleshooting machine or equipment issues preferred Performance Expectations: Maintain productivity and quality metrics throughout shift Participate in bi-weekly 1:1 performance check-ins Meet production volume and accuracy standards Ensure all mail pieces meet compliance and quality requirements Follow all safety and operational procedures consistently Candidate Profile – Best Fit: Strong attention to quality and detail Ability to manage time effectively in a production environment Comfortable with physical, hands-on work (standing, lifting, bending) Reliable, consistent attendance and performance Top Required Skills (Stack Ranked): Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and perform physical production work Attention to detail and quality accuracy Time management and ability to maintain production pace Training & Onboarding: First day includes facility tour and operations overview Centene University training provided Shadowing with experienced operators included Additional Information Candidates Should Know: This is a hands-on production role, not a desk job Requires standing for long periods throughout shift Must be comfortable working in a high-volume mail production environment Strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and productivity Opportunity for extension or permanent hire based on performance and business needs Benefits: Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
