PROCESS OPERATING TRAINEE – Austin Industrial

Job Duties

  1. Maintain the necessary skills to operate all equipment per operating and safety
  2. Maintain accurate records and logs as required in the process
  3. Manually operate valves to support safe and efficient plant
  4. Unplug process lines as
  5. Perform safe-out of equipment when
  6. Troubleshoot operational
  7. Initiate and enter maintenance notifications into SAP as
  8. Utilize process area equipment to ensure safe and efficient
  9. Communicate with supervision and complete tasks as
  10. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform all necessary make-ups for process
  11. Maintain accurate records for all make-
  12. Perform all required safety equipment
  13. Conduct routine visual checks on all equipment, monitoring operations and
  14. Execute proper lock-ins and
  15. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as:
    • Breaking flanges for safe-out
    • Connecting hoses
    • Changing small valves, filters, and cleaning equipment
    • Assisting maintenance
  16. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to ensure a safe working
  17. Perform additional duties as required, including those covered by other BR production

  • Maintaining a clean and uncluttered work
  • immediately reporting all incidents, injuries, illnesses, exposures (e.g., chemical), and near
  • immediately correcting and/or reporting of all hazardous acts and
