General Purpose
  • The position is available at 2 Levels (Qualified or Trainee)
  • This position is with union IBB Local S1978

Responsibilities
Responsible for safely and efficiently operating haul trucks (typically Caterpillar 777, 785 or 789) in hauling material. Inspects equipment before operating and insures that it is in safe, operable condition. All work will be performed in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies for the mine to meet its budgeted goals in safety, cost, productivity and environmental requirements.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of one years of surface mining experience

If candidate does not pocess the requirements, they may be hired at the Trainee level.
