Job Description Summary

Responsible for the receiving operations of the plant including outside receiving and cutter deck are in a food production environment over the course of a full shift. This also includes leading the General Labor positions in the Receiving and Cutter area. Responsible for maintaining an even flow of corn to the line.

Job Description

  • Conduct tasks in a completely safe manner at all times
  • Maintain adequate product flow to keep Product Hoppers Full
  • Observe production processes to detect issues
  • Operate the HMI control panel for starting, stopping, and controlling speed of equipment
  • Communicate issues to the Production Team Leader and process Leads
  • Keeps detailed logs of equipment downtime and process events
  • Assists in plant cleaning during defrost/sanitation periods
  • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
  • Observe and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that settings conform to production or processing standards
  • Be able to complete Personal Qualification Requirements
  • Setup, maintain and improve work area
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Experience in a frozen food manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High School Diploma, GED or 1 year of food manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to work as a team.
