Job description

The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating production machinery to manufacture quality products in accordance with company standards, production schedules, and safety requirements. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow established procedures.


 

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor assigned machinery according to standard operating procedures
  • Load raw materials and unload finished products as required
  • Inspect products during and after production to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform routine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to maintain efficient operation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Clean the machine regularly
  • Follow all company safety rules, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to supervision
  • Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report order status on company's ERP system

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
