Job description

The Operational Readiness Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting the development of operational systems, documentation, and resources required to enable safe and effective operations at the Wheeler River Site. This role ensures that procedures, work instructions, and supporting materials are developed in alignment with project timelines and are ready to support training and operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and coordination of operational documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and job plans
  • Align operational documents with training program needs by identifying role-based training requirements and supporting content development
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external SMEโ€™s to support the development of operating procedures and systems
  • Support the set-up of operational requirements including tools, consumables, and initial inventory in coordination with Supply Chain
  • Contribute to the development of control systems and operational data frameworks from an end-user perspective
  • Provide coordination and support across operational readiness activities, including coverage for the Operational Readiness Manager as required

Requirements

You are an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in operations, training, and operational readiness within a mining/industrial environment. You are comfortable coordinating across teams and translating technical processes into structured documentation. In addition, you bring:

  • A diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, training, or operational, readiness
  • Experience developing procedures, work instructions, and training materials
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows and management systems
  • Experience working with cross functional teams in a project environment
  • Strong organization, communication and coordination skills
