We are seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Director, Insurance Operations - InForce Modernization to lead and accelerate the modernization of our InForce organization. 

This role will play a critical strategic leadership function in driving the transformation of InForce operations by improving process efficiency, strengthening knowledge management, and enhancing both client and advisor experience. 

Reporting directly to the AVP Insurance operations - In-Force policy, the Director will work in close partnership with teams in Operations, Insurance Solution, Shared Services, and Technology to ensure coordinated execution of modernization priorities and delivery of measurable outcomes. 

What you will do:

Lead InForce Modernization Execution 

  • Drive the endtoend process modernization roadmap for InForce operations in alignment with the Insurance and technology roadmap  

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of the InForce Modernization Task Force 

  • Translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans, milestones, and deliverables 

Strengthen Governance & Delivery Discipline 

  • Support strong governance, structure, and reporting frameworks 

  • Ensure clear prioritization, accountability, and visibility across initiatives 

  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines as the Insurance Operation stakeholder 

Drive CrossFunctional Alignment 

  • Act as a central point of coordination across multiple stakeholders and shared services 

  • Align efforts across Operations, Business Delivery, Process Excellence, Technology. 

  • Ensure integrated delivery of solutions that are practical, scalable, and sustainable 

Accelerate Process Efficiency & Experience Improvement 

  • Lead initiatives focused on:  

  • Reducing inefficiencies and rework 

  • Improving processing time and quality (NotInGoodOrder reduction) 

  • Simplifying processes and enhancing endtoend workflows 

  • Champion improvements that make it easier to do business for clients, advisors, and teams 

Enable Knowledge Management & Sustainability 

  • Address risks related to undocumented knowledge and SME dependency 

  • Coordinate development of structured, standardized, and sustainable documentation 

  • Strengthen operational resilience and readiness for future transformation 

What You Will Bring:

  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and translate strategy into execution 

  • Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving capabilities 

  • Focus on endtoend process thinking, not siloed improvements 

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism is an asset (fluent in French and English) but is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English-speaking needs.

The base salary for this position is between $114,200 - $164,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
