Ours is a no ego culture of collaboration and innovation where those seeking their next challenge can find big opportunities and make a huge impact on the lives of all those who we protect. We don't just want you to work here. We want you to grow and thrive here.
We're embracing a hybrid work model that enables our teams to split their time between office and home. Hybrid for us means we expect our teams to come together in our state-of-the-art office on two core days, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday - working together in person and choosing where they work for the remainder of the week. We all benefit from flexibility and get to use the best of both worlds to get our work done.

Why are we hiring?

Well, we're growing and thriving. So, we need smart, talented, and humble people who share our values to join us as we disrupt the home security space and relentlessly pursue our mission of keeping Every Home Secure.

About the Role

SimpliSafe is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join the Manufacturing Operations organization of our award-winning wireless/IoT home security company. You will work with internal and external teams to lead strategic manufacturing, supply chain, and operational initiatives across the product lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for driving program execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and helping achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong program management foundation, experience in consumer products or electronics manufacturing, and a passion for building and improving processes, tools, and ways of working. While the initial focus of this role will be on manufacturing and supply chain programs, this position will also support broader cross-functional initiatives spanning Operations and other business functions. As the Operations Program Management function grows, this role will play an important part in establishing the processes, operating mechanisms, and execution discipline needed to successfully deliver increasingly complex initiatives across the organization.

What You'll Do

Primary Responsibilities
Lead complex cross-functional programs from initiation through execution, driving alignment, accountability, and successful delivery against business objectives.

Serve as Program Manager for strategic manufacturing and operations initiatives, including NPI readiness, sustaining programs, cost reduction efforts, manufacturing readiness, and operational improvement projects.

Coordinate effectively across functions including Supply Chain, Engineering, Product, Business Systems, Information Security, and Customer Support, acting as a central point of contact and ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders.

Develop and manage program plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, communications, and executive updates to ensure successful program execution.

Partner with internal teams and external manufacturing partners to drive operational readiness, resolve issues, and achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals.

Identify gaps in processes and ways of working, and create the tools, documentation, reporting, operating mechanisms, and best practices that improve team effectiveness and enable repeatable execution across Operations.

Contribute to the long-term vision of the Operations Program Management function by helping establish the processes, operating mechanisms, and execution discipline required to support all major Operations initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Desired Skills and Experience
6+ years of program and/or project management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.

Experience leading the development and manufacturing of electronics, hardware, or other high-volume consumer products.

Strong program management skills, including planning, risk management, dependency management, executive communication, and change management.

Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams and organizations.

Experience creating and improving processes, tools, documentation, reporting, and standard work that improve team effectiveness and execution.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership.

Ability to thrive in ambiguity, create structure, and successfully drive initiatives through changing business environments.

Experience working with Asia manufacturing partners and willingness to travel internationally 1-2 times per year.

Nice-to-Haves
Experience using project management software (e.g. Smartsheet, Monday, Jira).

Experience implementing business systems, enterprise platforms, or operational transformation initiatives.

Familiarity with stage-gate product development processes.

Experience with data analytics, KPI development, and operational reporting.

PMP certification or equivalent training.
