Required Clearance: Secret
Certifications: None
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
Required Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing Government contracts, programs, or projects. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or managing Army logistics operations.
Position Description
PingWind is seeking a Program Manager to provide direct leadership and oversight of all contract personnel and ensures work is performed in accordance with the contract's Performance Work Statement (PWS), applicable Federal regulations, contract requirements, established quality standards, and Government expectations. The PM is responsible for coordinating geographically dispersed personnel and maintaining effective communication between the Government, corporate leadership, subcontractors, and the contract workforce.
Primary Responsibilities
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
• Serve as the single POC for the Government and primary interface for all contractual, operational, personnel, and performance matters.
• Exercise full management authority over contract operations and assigned personnel.
• Manage contract performance to ensure all PWS requirements, deliverables, schedules, and performance standards are achieved.
• Direct and oversee all contract personnel, including employees working across geographically dispersed locations.
• Develop and maintain effective staffing, workforce management, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor employee and team performance and implement corrective actions when performance deficiencies are identified.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with Government leadership, Contracting Officer representatives, operational stakeholders, corporate management, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), contractual requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee implementation and execution of the contract's Quality Control Program, including performance monitoring, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Manage Government deliverables, reports, schedules, meetings, action items, and other contractual requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements applicable to Federal and Department of Defense contracts.
• Expertise in Government contract and program management.
• Strong understanding of Army logistics operations and requirements.
Desired Qualifications
• Master's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Military Experience preferred
