The Operator assists in the operation and monitoring of production equipment, performing routine inspections, and supporting plant processes under supervision.

  • Required Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems used in plant operations.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
    • Knowledge of safety standards and practices (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
    • Proven experience as a plant operator or in a similar role.
    • High level of safety and quality.
    • Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.).
    • Good problem-solving skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Heavy Mobile Equipment Experience
    • Front end loader experience preferred
    • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical. 
    • Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge.
    • Forklift experience .
    • Computer Software .
    • Warehouse experience
  • Operate front-end loader and other heavy equipment in addition to monitoring plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant systems.
  • Record operating data such as temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and report abnormalities.
  • Start up, shut down, and adjust equipment as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols strictly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repairs and upgrades.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of materials and spare parts.
  • Complete shift logs and handovers properly.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
