Position Summary
The Project Support Specialist serves a critical role within our Home Services Division by helping coordinate residential generator installation projects as well as some residential service projects from sale to completion.
This position is responsible for scheduling installations, obtaining permits, coordinating inspections, communicating with homeowners, managing project documentation, and supporting our field teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Though this position is physically located in Hazelhurst, WI, you will assist with project support for any Adams, Inc. location (not limited to Hazelhurst, WI)
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
What You'll Do
Project Scheduling & Coordination
  • Schedule residential generator installations and related project activities
  • Coordinate installation dates with homeowners, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively communicate updates
  • Ensure projects are prepared and ready before installation begins

Permitting & Inspection Management
  • Obtain all required municipal, county, and state permits
  • Coordinate permit applications and permit fee processing
  • Schedule and track inspections with local authorities
  • Ensure permit and inspection requirements are completed on time

Customer Communication
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Answer questions and provide project status updates
  • Deliver a professional and exceptional customer experience
  • Coordinate scheduling changes and communicate project expectations

Project Administration
  • Create and manage projects in ServiceTitan
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Upload permits, photos, contracts, inspection documentation, and other project-related files
  • Monitor project statuses and ensure information remains up to date

Utility & Site Coordination
  • Coordinate utility-related activities when required
  • Submit Diggers Hotline requests as needed
  • Coordinate inspections and utility requirements related to generator installations
  • Communicate important project milestones to internal teams

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, administrative support, customer service, or construction administration
  • Experience working with permits, inspections, or municipal processes
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar operations software
  • Familiarity with residential construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or generator installation projects

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities.
