Summary

Drive compliant, efficient onboarding processes that support a seamless new hire experience across the organization. As the Onboarding Operations Manager - 2.0 SuccessFactors, you will define, govern, and optimize onboarding processes within SuccessFactors, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards. You will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, HRIT, and Compliance teams to maintain audit readiness, leverage system data for oversight, and continuously improve processes. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, strategic professional who thrives on process ownership, cross functional collaboration, and ensuring compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.

The salary range for this position is $101,000 - $151,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).  

In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.  

This role offers flexibility in work location. The position includes approximately 10-20% travel, which may include visits to the corporate office in Salisbury, Maryland, other company facilities, training sessions, and industry events.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable to support the company's onboarding and compliance processes via the recently implemented SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 module, including policy alignment and process improvements.
  • Responsible for continual process improvement in Onboarding process in partnership with HR leaders.
  • Ensure onboarding workflows comply with federal, state, and company requirements (including I 9/E Verify oversight).
  • Act as the primary internal contact regarding compliance related onboarding issues, escalations, and system impacts.
  • Define business requirements with HR leadership and partner with HRIT/HRMS on system enhancements, testing, and releases impacting onboarding.
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics, trends, and risks; support internal and external audit activities related to onboarding.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, decision trees, and guidance materials for onboarding execution.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR Responsible Groups and other Onboarding stakeholders.
  • Support change management and communication related to compliance updates impacting onboarding processes.
  • As the Onboarding process is stabilized, will support other standard compliance related activities to possibly include EEO reporting, etc.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Compliance, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience with HR hiring and onboarding processes including adherence to local, state and federal guidelines, ideally in a multi-state, high volume, manufacturing setting.
  • Strong functional knowledge of SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, including an understanding of system capabilities, workflows, and impacts, without requiring deep technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive decisions and outcomes in complex, matrixed environments where accountability is distributed across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance concepts and audit support in multi states.
  • Experience working with Legal and other 3rd parties to solve complex compliance issues.
  • Experience in implementing consistent, scalable process and system solutions - preferably multi state and in manufacturing to include a large hourly employee population.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive decisions and outcomes in complex, matrixed environments where accountability is distributed across multiple stakeholders.
  • Compliance and risk awareness - ability to both execute and report on compliance topics.
  • Process design and governance - ability to create process or improve, document agreed to process and design and implement governance.
  • Cross functional collaboration - Strong understanding of Corporate and manufacturing plant environments, with the ability to balance operational needs and enterprise requirements through effective cross functional collaboration.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, actionable direction for stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to assess challenges and drive timely, effective solutions.
