Position Overview:

The Loss Prevention Analyst is responsible for supporting the Loss Prevention programs that contribute to shrink reduction within the company through report generation and analysis. This position is the communicator for exception reporting and the District Loss Prevention Managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and monitor daily loss exceptions to identify and resolve internal and external theft.
  • Collect, organize and communicates data derived from systems on outlying trends that impact loss.
  • Effectively present data for the District Loss Prevention Managers follow up and investigation.
  • Initiate best practices for stores, district and region leadership.
  • Provide support and information for Store Operations and Asset Protection leaders.
  • Monitor and review operational systems and procedures to prevent shortage.
  • Compile monthly reports on investigation stats.
  • Provide weekly monitoring and reporting on statistical impact.
  • Utilize critical thinking and analytic skills to review data and provide insight to the District Loss Prevention Managers.
  • Assist with training new and current District Loss Prevention Managers on the investigation and exception tracking system (Appriss Secure 5 Platform).
  • Provide support for the Loss Prevention team with video review and investigation follow up.
  • Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of PC applications, including Word and Excel.
  • 1 year prior Asset Protection/Loss Prevention experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski certified a plus.
  • Highly knowledgeable with exception based reporting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
  • Able and willing to travel to store and distribution center locations on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
