Job description

The Manager, Professional Services is responsible for leading the team that delivers successful software deployments for our clients. The scope of this job includes ensuring satisfaction of contractual obligations, as well as achievement of targets related to revenue, gross margin and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of clinical consultants' client projects by ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and delivered in alignment with leadership's strategic direction.
  • Monitor and manage team utilization to ensure optimal productivity across projects.
  • Forecast revenue and utilization and partner with leadership to determine capacity planning and resource alignment that will best address project needs.
  • Assume the role of project sponsor and maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and surface solution-deployment escalations in order to develop and recommend resolutions for leadership review.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance project delivery while also driving leadership-directed process changes to improve implementation outcomes.
  • Build an effective team by cultivating culture, being a positive advocate for change, and coaching or training on consultant best practices.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and continuously improve Professional Services processes to increase delivery efficiency, consistency, scalability, and client satisfaction; partner with crossfunctional teams to implement best practices and leadershipdriven improvements.
  • Partner with Sales and crossfunctional stakeholders to support the sales cycle, including contributing to the development, review, and refinement of Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure accurate scope, resourcing, timelines, and financial alignment prior to client engagements.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 4-6 years relevant work experience
  • At least 0-1 years relevant management work experience
  • At least 5 years experience in healthcare, healthcare IT

Preferred Qualification:

  • WellSky Specialty Care solution experience (LTACH, IRF, Behavioral Health, LTC).
  • Management Consulting / IT Consulting work experience.
  • Excellent executive presence with the ability to build relationships with client leadership, directors, managers, and IT stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging AI (artificial intelligence) and automation tools to improve implementation workflows, optimize resource allocation, enhance training delivery, and drive process efficiencies across consulting operations.
  • Strong change management capabilities, with the ability to coach consultants and guide clients through operational transitions.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including forecasting, utilization management, margin awareness, and consulting services performance metrics.

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 30% based on business needs
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
