At TotalEnergies, we are committed to delivering a more sustainable energy future. Within our Gas, Renewables & Power (GRP) segment, the Asset Management team plays a critical role in maximizing the longโ€‘term value of our renewable energy portfolio across North America.

As part of a centralized Operations & Asset Management organization, the team oversees a diverse portfolio of utilityโ€‘scale and distributed generation (DG) assets, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). These projects operate across a range of market structures and financing arrangements, partnering with investors, utilities, and commercial customers.

As an Asset Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, driving their financial and operational performance while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maximize asset value by monitoring and optimizing performance of solar, wind, and storage projects
  • Act as the ownerโ€™s representative, managing relationships with internal teams, investors, offtakers, and service providers
  • Ensure contractual compliance across key agreements (PPAs, O&M, EPC, interconnection, financing, leases)
  • Lead issue resolution for technical, commercial, regulatory, and environmental challenges
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgets, cash flow management, variance analysis, and reporting
  • Support revenue optimization in collaboration with trading and market teams
  • Prepare and deliver reporting to internal stakeholders, partners, and investors
  • Manage project-level financial operations, including OPEX, invoicing, receivables, and distributions
  • Drive value creation initiatives and continuous improvement across the portfolio
  • Develop market expertise in electricity markets, renewable energy credits (RECs), and capacity structures

In this role, you will directly contribute to maximizing returns and ensuring the longโ€‘term success of our renewable assets.

What You Bring
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree with 3โ€“5+ years of experience in renewable energy, asset management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of utilityโ€‘scale renewable projects across development, construction, and operations
  • Experience managing commercial agreements and assetโ€‘level obligations
  • Proven ability to manage financial performance, budgets, and cash flows
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastโ€‘paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a global or matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of complex project financing structures (tax equity, debt, sponsor models)
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Experience working directly with external stakeholders (offtakers, vendors, service providers)
  • Familiarity with U.S. renewable energy markets, regulations, and incentive programs
  • Selfโ€‘starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
