Job description

An Interim Pharmacy Operations Manager position is available in an inpatient setting across two campuses with an average daily census of 120 to 150 patients. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, this role supports pharmacy operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Location:

  • Bakersfield, CA
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations across the Downtown and Southwest campuses.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy to support operational priorities.
  • Manage employee scheduling to maintain adequate coverage and workflow.
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly as they arise during the workday.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy staff to implement policies and procedures that promote quality and compliance.

  • Proven experience in pharmacy management, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
