Job description

Responsibilities: Assist the general manager with the direction and coordination of activities of assigned staff.  Help ensure that the operation is running properly and efficiently, while meeting and exceeding budgeted goals.  Help supervise staff to make sure all cash-handling policies and procedures are being followed.  Perform frequent inspections and audits to make sure operation is running effectively.  Daily ordering of supplies.  Ensure sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness are monitored and enforced.  Monitor all maintenance needs.  Assist the full-time manager with training, scheduling and reviewing the performance of assigned personnel.  Support the restaurant manager with departmental goals and objectives relating to the business.  Assist other Food and Beverage operations with special events.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required with some college preferred.  Supervisory experience in a fast paced, large volume atmosphere preferred.  Must have flexible hours.  Work schedule varies, but is mostly days with some evening events.  Must be available weekends and holidays.  Work schedules change according to business demands.  General familiarity of Microsoft Excel and Word required.  Food Service Sanitation Certificate a plus.  All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
