We are the global leader in packaging and product integrity testing equipment, and our team covers industries including Food & Beverage, Flexible Packaging, Paints & Coatings, and various Industrial end markets.

We currently have an opening for an Operations Manager for Industrial Physics in our Greensboro, North Carolina location.

Operations Planning: Align Operations schedules with global sales demand to ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of complex metrology equipment.

Quality Oversight: Partner with the Quality department to maintain the high precision standards required for SpecMetrix optical interference technology.

Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with Procurement to manage vendor relationships, mitigate supply chain risks, and optimize inventory flow and working capital.

Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance site throughput.

Safety & Compliance: Foster a "safety-first" culture, ensuring full compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental standards.

Team Development: Mentor and develop a team of direct reports, tailoring leadership style to the experience level of individual contributors and staff.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably within high-tech instrumentation, metrology, or industrial equipment sectors.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field is preferred; equivalent technical leadership experience will be considered.

Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including inventory management, labor efficiency, and P&L impact.

Technical Savvy: Comfort managing the Operations of sophisticated hardware/software integrated products.

Leadership Flexibility: Proven ability to manage diverse functional areas (Logistics, Quality, Assembly) with a focus on coaching and accountability.

What We Offer

The opportunity to lead Operations for a high-growth brand (SpecMetrix) within the broader Industrial Physics portfolio.

A high-visibility role reporting to executive leadership, where your operational strategy directly impacts global quality standards and financial performance.
