Position Profile - Innovation Space Data Analytics Intern, Number of Opportunities: 2

 

ventureLAB is looking for proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented data analytics interns that support the Innovation Space and community department to improve operational performance and member experience. In this role, you will execute a defined project charter focused on building standardized data frameworks, designing insight dashboards, auditing database integrity in Salesforce, and analyzing membership trends to enhance operational performance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture & Reporting Framework: Design standardized data structures and reporting templates to streamline departmental communication and data-driven decision-making.
  • Analytics & Dashboard Development: Build interactive dashboard reports to track operational outcomes, monitor key performance indicators, and present actionable insights.
  • Process Integration Blueprint: Conduct cross-functional workflow reviews to identify data-sharing opportunities and deliver process optimization recommendations.
  • Data Quality Audit & Validation: Execute a comprehensive data audit across existing records, implementing quality assurance standards within systems like Salesforce, Google Drive, or Skedda.

What We're Looking For

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant post-secondary program (Business Administration, Data Analytics, Operations, or Technology Management).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Interest in property operations, community management, or coworking space administration.
  • Basic familiarity with spreadsheets, CRM tools, or facility software (Salesforce, Google Drive, Skedda) is helpful.
Allowance and Work Model
  • To mitigate personal financial impact for those commuting to or working alongside the ventureLAB team in Markham, all participants qualify for a Monthly Travel and Meal Allowance of up to $1,000.00, issued through semi-monthly reimbursements of up to $500.00.
  • Work Model: Onsite (Markham, Ontario), 5 days a week.
