SEDOL Overview

Position/Title: Maintenance Worker
Qualifications: High School Diploma
                       Class D Driver's License with good driving record
                       Ability to lift 50 lbs.
                       Ability to work on elevated areas (ladders and rooftop)
                       General carpentry, plumbing and electrical experience
                       Exhibit pleasant and helpful attitude when working with staff and outside personnel
                       Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience preferred
Direct Supervisor: Head of Maintenance
Overview: The Maintenance worker position is a twelve (12) month position Responsibilities include H. V.A.C, electrical wiring, communication systems, maintaining the physical integrity of all SEDOL buildings, and purchase equipment. Twenty-four (24) hour
availability is a primary component of the position.









Performance Responsibilities:
1. Maintain all H.V.A.C. electrical, plumbing and physical integrity, including doors and hardware, of all SEDOL buildings.
2. Assist in ice and snow removal from assigned SEDOL sites.
3. Initiate preventative maintenance procedures for all SEDOL operated buildings.
4. Monitor BAS systems as needed.
5. Repair SEDOL equipment on an as needed basis.
6. Utilize School Dude Software work order/preventative maintenance system.
7. Complete assigned building, equipment projects with a specific schedule.
8. Provide maintenance for the Maintenance Department vehicles.
9. Be available for twenty-four (24) hour on-call services, as needed
10. Complete other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and the Manger for Purchasing and Operations/Maintenance to support the education program provided by SEDOL
11. Assist in basic landscaping tasks (ie; mulch, lawn, patching and branch removal)
12. Assist to fill in for Custodial staff
13. Assist Operations staff with order deliveries and meeting set-up.
14. Assist Operations staff with summer classroom moves.













Salary: $20.98 - $26.86 per hour based on education and experience.
