Job description

Part-Time Floater Receptionist – JLL

As a Floater Receptionist, you will provide essential administrative, receptionist, and concierge support. Your role is vital to achieving our operational targets by delivering exceptional service in accordance with JLL and client requirements. You will perform your duties with integrity and diligence, acting as a key representative of JLL on-site by proactively developing client relationships and ensuring service levels are consistently met or exceeded.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by managing the sign-in process for vendors and visitors, handling incoming calls, and providing high-level administrative support to employees
  • Provide coverage across a variety of job roles to support the department during staff time off and for other needs as assigned
  • Maintain the professional appearance and function of the front office, including managing conference room schedules and keeping the reception area clean and presentable
  • Assist the Facilities Management team with general administrative activities, such as booking travel, maintaining contact lists, and tracking badges
  • Support the delivery of site amenities and programs, including mailroom functions, courier services, copy services, and shipping programs
  • Coordinate and manage special requests for workplace services and participate as a key team member in responses to emergency situations
  • Act as an ambassador for JLL by supporting an environment of teamwork and consistently behaving in line with our cultural and ethical requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • A self-motivated, confident, energetic, and flexible work style
  • Must be able to adequately perform required job functions, including the ability to lift, bend, and move to complete tasks in a safe manner
  • Proven ability to proactively develop and maintain positive client relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or customer service role
  • Experience managing multi-line phone systems or conference room booking software
  • Familiarity with mailroom operations, including shipping and courier services
  • Experience assisting with travel arrangements or other administrative tasks

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position: 20.00 – 21.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
