Job description

Operations Coordinator

Wieland is hiring an Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production activities, maintaining accurate records, ensuring workflow efficiency and work closely with production maintenance, logistics, planning, and management. This role is located in Wheeling, IL and will be fully on-site.

Hourly Pay Range: $24.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc.

Responsibilities

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Assist with real-time problem solving to maintain operational flow.
  • Maintain accurate production records, logs, work orders, and compliance documents.
  • Enter data into SAP
  • Support audits by ensuring documentation accuracy and readiness.
  • Comply with all Wieland policies and environmental standards & report all incidents and near misses immediately.
  • Serve as a liaison between production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, communicate updates, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Operations Coordinator Qualifications:

  • High Diploma Preferred
  • High regard for Safety and Quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
  • 2 years of experience in a Wieland Manufacturing Plant (preferred)
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
