Job description

SOKOL GxP Services is seeking a Business Operations Associate to support biologics development operations within a GMP-regulated environment. This role focuses on procurement coordination, purchase order management, invoicing support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and compliant execution of operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate procurement activities including capital equipment and laboratory supply purchases
  • Create and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders in alignment with internal processes
  • Support supplier sourcing, quotations, and vendor coordination
  • Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and installation milestones
  • Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready
  • Support invoice tracking, reconciliation, and resolution of discrepancies within P2P systems
  • Maintain procurement records including orders, confirmations, and receipts
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders (Lab Ops, Facilities, Procurement, Finance) and external vendors
  • Escalate issues related to fulfillment, invoicing, or non-standard requests
  • Support adherence to SOPs, compliance requirements, and internal controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field
  • 4–7 years of experience supporting procurement, operations, or supply chain functions
  • Experience working in regulated environments (GMP preferred)
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Ariba preferred)
  • Experience with procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes and invoice reconciliation
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience with contract tracking tools (e.g., Icertis)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems
  • Exposure to laboratory or capital equipment procurement

Competitive hourly rate: $48.40 – $57.10/hr (W-2 only, no C2C)

Hybrid position - 50 % on site

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, regular business hours

12-month contract with possible extension
