Nature of Work The Office Operations Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Mercer County Department of Human Services by serving as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff in the front reception area. Responsibilities include greeting and directing clients, scanning and maintaining electronic documentation, operating a multiline telephone system, processing incoming and outgoing mail, including Certified Mail, FedEx, and UPS deliveries, receiving and distributing packages and correspondence, escorting vendors and authorized visitors throughout the building, and performing a variety of general office support duties to ensure the efficient daily operation of the office while providing courteous, professional customer service.
