Job description

What you'll do

Strategy & Operations at Giga is not a support function - it's the connective tissue that makes everything run faster and smarter. As a Strategy & Operations Associate, you'll work directly alongside senior leadership to identify where the business is moving, where it's breaking, and what to do about it. One week you might be building the operating model for a new energy market; the next, you're in the field stress-testing how we're executing against a major deployment timeline.

This role is for someone who gets things done. Not someone who creates decks about getting things done - someone who closes the loop, tracks the details, and drives initiatives from whiteboard to reality. If you thrive at the intersection of analytical rigor and operational execution, and want to build something that physically powers the AI revolution, this is the role.

Where you'll work

We are an in-office culture - velocity matters when you're building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions happen in the room. This role is ideally based in our San Francisco, Long Beach, or Houston offices, with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays.

That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role, we'll have a conversation about what works.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute large, cross-functional initiatives that are essential to scaling project development
  • Act as a force multiplier to the Chief of Staff & Head of Projects by driving priorities forward and ensuring execution stays on track
  • Structure and solve problems by breaking down ambiguity into clear, actionable plans
  • Build systems and processes that improve speed, efficiency, and scalability across the team
  • Produce deliverables such as decks, models, and memos that inform decision making
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and development to align on key deliverables
  • Drive execution with urgency, ensuring projects move from idea to completion without bottlenecks
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, high-growth startups, or similar environments
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite to synthesize information and drive outputsExecution-first mindset with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in fast-paced settings
  • High ownership and autonomy, with a strong bias toward action
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
  • Adaptability in dynamic, evolving environments
Bonus Points
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup during a period of rapid scaling
Benefits
  • Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Commuter benefits
