What is the opportunity?


As an Operations Associate - Fulfillment & Imaging Group, you will be responsible for performing daily oversight of complex processes and providing analysis and customer service support for exception-based, complex, and/or highly specialized operational processes. You will maintain applications, including granting access and loading documents. You will liaise with various operations departments to research and investigate inquiries and issues and resolve concerns with the aim of providing seamless operations service experience.

What will you do?

  • Provide customer service and liaison support for individuals requiring research, problem resolution, or information from other Operations departments, RBC Business Units, external customers, or industry participants. Address escalated questions independently or escalate to your Team Lead or Manager following established procedures.

  • Deliver specialized analytical and processing support for exception-based, complex, and highly specialized processes. Accurately review, verify, and record data into departmental systems.

  • Process Canada Revenue Agency notices, including Requirement to Pay (RTP) and Request for Information (RFI) submissions.

  • Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to reduce risk or increase efficiencies. Recommend process changes and system modifications and participate in testing and implementing new systems and processes as required.

  • Train and mentor other Operations team members, serving as a resource for their development.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Must haves:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with colleagues and clients.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

  • Continuous learning mindset with willingness to cross-train across team desks and expand your skill set.

  • Business acumen to understand and support daily operational needs on an ongoing basis.

  • Independent execution capability to work efficiently and accurately on exception-based, complex, and highly specialized processes with minimal supervision.

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, OR

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND 3+ years of experience in securities, banking, technology, or a related industry.
