Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented Clinical Center Associate Trainee or Clinical Center Associate I to work within our Ambulatory Services - Lymphoma & Multiple Myeloma department.
In this role, you'll be the welcoming face and steady hand behind the scenes-answering calls, assisting patients and visitors, managing clinic schedules, and accurately recording physician orders. You'll help guide patients through their visits, handle co-pay collections with care and professionalism, and collaborate closely with a supportive care team. Working in a confidential, supervised setting, you'll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service, seamless operations, and a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

\uDF1FStarting hourly rate for the Clinical Center Associate Trainee position is $19.55. Starting hourly rate for the Clinical Center Associate I position is $21.81. Both positions includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience for Clinical Center Associate Trainee:
High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service.
Required Education and Experience for Clinical Center Associate I:
1. Medical Office Assistant Associate's degree; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
4. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of one year of customer service, healthcare, administrative, or patient-facing experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
