Job description

SUMMARY
The FacOps Analyst I supports operational excellence by monitoring key processes, analyzing data, and identifying improvement opportunities. This role partners with internal teams and external vendors, manages and reconciles budgets, and creates reports to guide decision-making. The analyst contributes to process improvement projects, updates policies and documentation, and ensures efficient, high-quality operations across FacOps functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned.
  • Review and analyze company policies and operational processes
  • Monitor and track process control points for critical operational processes (e.g., requisitions, budgeting, service management)
  • Build and maintain working relationships with any 3rd party providers, partners and vendors supporting operational processes
  • Export, combine, refine and analyze datasets from business applications (e.g., budget variances, customer service interactions, customer and employee surveys)
  • Visualize data using charts, graphs, and reports to summarize findings for management
  • Analyze datasets and information to identify operational improvement opportunities
  • Define improvement project requirements by interviewing stakeholders, analyzing data and processes, determining project scope and documenting results
  • Track and report status of project actions taken to drive improvements
  • Recommend changes and update written policies and procedures
  • Collaborate across multiple teams to improve operational efficiency and quality end- to- end
  • Craft quality professional written communications and templates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing, reforecasting, and reconciling budgets
  • 3+ years of project management or related professional experience
  • Experience in data analysis, including use of Excel pivot tables, formulas, and charting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, business applications and databases such as ServiceNow, ScienceLogic, and Salesforce, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience managing, reforecasting, and reconciling budgets of $1M+
  • Experience managing 3rd party provider and vendor relationships

  • Strong writing skills for creating clear and concise communications and templates
  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate within the immediate team and with direct stakeholders
  • Organizational skills to prioritize work, balance multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Attention to scope, tone, and quality in documentation and process updates
  • Ability to follow up on tasks in a timely manner, escalating when appropriate
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance for complex issues
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to support operational process improvements
  • Demonstrated commitment to technical growth and learning new tools/applications
