We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Vice President of Fleet Operations to lead all aspects of fleet strategy, maintenance operations, vehicle lifecycle management, asset performance, and fleet compliance across our operation.

This executive leadership role is responsible for ensuring fleet reliability, optimizing vehicle utilization, strengthening maintenance programs, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting the long-term growth of the organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll develop and execute fleet initiatives that support safety, cost control, service excellence, and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities of a Vice President of Fleet Operations:Executive Leadership & Fleet Strategy
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all fleet operations and maintenance functions.
  • Develop and execute fleet strategies that support safety, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Establish performance objectives and accountability measures that drive fleet effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on fleet utilization, vehicle readiness, maintenance performance, and cost management.
  • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership regarding fleet planning, capital investments, and operational strategy.

  • Oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle acquisition, replacement planning, and lifecycle management.

  • Standardize fleet processes, maintenance procedures, and best practices across the organization.

Maintenance & Performance Optimization
  • Lead maintenance teams responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle inspections.
  • Establish performance metrics and operational standards for maintenance operations.
  • Analyze fleet data and maintenance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop initiatives that reduce repair costs while maintaining high safety and reliability standards.

Safety, Risk Management & Compliance
  • Champion a culture of safety throughout all fleet and maintenance operations.

Qualifications for a Vice President of Fleet Operations:
  • 7+ years of senior leadership experience in fleet operations, transportation, logistics, maintenance management, or a related industry.

  • Strong understanding of fleet management, vehicle lifecycle planning, preventative maintenance, and asset utilization.
  • Experience overseeing maintenance facilities, repair operations, and fleet performance programs.
