Job description

Customer Operations Analyst

Our client is a Y Combinator-backed logistics technology company automating complex freight transactions for shippers. Founded in 2018, Series A funded ($15M raised), with a tight team of about 35 based in Los Angeles and thousands of daily active users on the platform. International, inclusive culture in full growth phase.

The Role

The Customer Operations Analyst runs the back-end audit operations for client accounts, at the forefront of making sure clients receive accurate and timely freight audits. A real growth seat: career paths from here lead toward Customer Success, Product Management, or Operations Leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the day-to-day audit process for client freight invoices across specific books of business.
  • Watch the data and the KPIs; keep the audit and dispute process running and as automated as possible.
  • Manage vendor onboarding, EDI integration, standard operating procedures, and customization.
  • Support clients by managing disputes, claims, and billing exceptions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
  • Ensure everything sold to the client is being executed and delivered.

What We Are Looking For

  • 1 to 2 years of international logistics experience (ocean and drayage exposure ideal; you will work primarily with vendors). Freight forwarding background is a strong fit.
  • Problem solvers with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for data collection and analysis.
  • Technology proficiency and a passion for using tools to improve processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Hustle, enthusiasm, figure-it-out factor: someone who moves fast and wants startup culture.

Nice to Have

  • D&D audit and accounts payable experience.
  • EDI integration background.

Location

  • Los Angeles, in person. Meaningful training and ramp-up with the team.

Benefits

  • Medical benefits, unlimited PTO, flexible work environment.
