Job Description Summary:
The Operations Training Manager works in conjunction with the Operations department to train highly effective Operations associates and supervisors. In Operations, the position entails managing and working closely with the operations team to meet or exceed production and productivity goals set forth by the Operations organization. This role is actively training Operations associates and Supervisors.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, can vary based on the needs of the business

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete training for all new hires and continual training for Operations associates and supervisors.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to associates, as necessary.
  • Engage in one-on-one reviews with operations associates to maximize performance.
  • Strategize new training methods for specified market/area of operations to be implemented.
  • Partner with Operations department to set and progress towards operational metrics and goals.
  • Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques.
  • Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' of experience in related area
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
  • Occasionally carry & lift up to 65 pounds
  • Occasionally reach overhead, squat and bend
  • Occasionally walk and stand for extended periods of time

Competencies:
  • May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
  • Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine. Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
