This job opportunity is for you! We are currently looking for forklift operators for our new distribution center in Valleyfield!

As a forklift operator, you will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, containers, and railcars.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Operating the forklift while adhering to all safety standards

  • Loading and unloading merchandise according to the company’s established procedures

  • Verifying item counts and quantities for each transaction

  • Completing the appropriate documentation following loading/unloading

  • Moving merchandise safely at all times

  • Following all company-issued health and safety guidelines

  • Ensuring compliance with established quality standards (product, equipment, materials)

  • Meeting the company’s performance and productivity standards

  • Using a scanner to complete transactions in the WMS

  • Participating in inventory counts

  • Performing other related tasks

Schedule:
evening, Monday to Friday, from 14:00 AM to 22:00 PM

What we’re looking for:

  • A valid forklift operator certificate

  • Experience operating various types of forklifts (Clamp, Fork, Raymond, etc.)

  • Experience working in a distribution center (an asset)

  • Experience using a scanner and WMS system (an asset)

  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety

  • A positive and determined attitude

  • Due to current C-TPAT policy, the selected candidate will be subject to a background check
