Job description

Position: Mainframe Systems Programmer (DB2 / IMS)
Location:Jersey City, NJ/ Plano TX/ Columbus OH
Duration: 12 Months Contract (High possibility of extension)
JD
Mainframe Sys programming experience in a mainframe z/OS operating system supporting DB2 subsystems in USS (Unix System Services)
Continuous Delivery Installation and Migration, DB2 Buffer Pool Tuning, DB2 Dump Analysis, DB2-related tools.
DB2 and/or IMS performance tuning involving buffer pools, storage groups, coupling facility structures, SQL, REORGs, ZPARMs and image copies
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
Experience on IBM Replication tools: IMS/IMS Replication, IMS KAFKA Replication QREP /CDC, IBM Program Product installation experience - SMP/e (Software Management Program/ extended)
Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
